Any community based organisation is only as strong as its Board. MonashLink's Board has diverse membership who all volunteer their time and expertise to helping MonashLink achieve its aims and objectives.
Currently retired, Dan has held a range of senior executive/management appointments in Commonwealth and State Government agencies with responsibility for major service delivery programs. He has also worked on overseas assignments including with the Lord Chancellor’s Department, UK, the United Nations, Port Industry Reforms (New Zealand and Singapore), and trade promotional visits to Taiwan and Singapore. Dan holds qualifications of B. Comm; A.A.S.A; and M.B.A; and is a Justice of the Peace. As Director of the Complaints and Claims Division, Small Claims, Residential Tenancies and Credit Tribunals, Dan has worked extensively with community groups. Back to top | Back to Home Page
Felicity’s history of involvement in community organisations includes membership of School Councils for Katandra (Vice President) and South Oakleigh Secondary College; two Kindergarten Committees (President); Advisory Committee Interchange Southern; Disability Advisory Committee Oakleigh and Monash; Epilepsy Foundation Victoria; and Chronic Illness Alliance. Ms. Smith has also been a Councillor with the City of Monash, Board Member of Kindergarten Parents Victoria and Secretary of the Committee of Management Huntingdale Hall and Monash Ratepayers Association. John Hartnett has been a Board member on a number of Government boards and was a senior executive at State Treasury for many years. In recent years he has worked as a financial counsellor in a number of community based organizations. He has qualifications in Commerce and Financial Counselling and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
John has a particular interest in corporate governance, is an active member of the Financial and Consumer Rights Council and is working hard to reduce the harm caused by poker machines in our community. Back to top | Back to Home Page
Dr Soo is currently a Medical Practitioner at Wheelers Hill Clinic. She holds a MBBS and a Masters of Family Medicine. Since 1978, Lesley has held appointments at hospitals in New South Wales and Papua New Guinea and has been in private practice in Alice Springs, Bendigo and Melbourne. Susie Bunn is currently the Director of the Craig Family Centre, and has managed a range of community-based organisations over a 20-year period. Susie is an active participant in the Neighbourhood Renewal Project with the Ashwood, Ashburton and Chadstone area. Susie has a keen interest in Health Promotion and Health of the community including migrant issues. Ross Buscemi is a resident of Oakleigh and holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Social Work. He is currently employed as the Director of Southern Central Region Migrant Resource Centre. Ross is a management committee member of the Southern Ethnic Advisory and Advocacy Council and a member of several committees including the City of Kingston Access and Equity Committee.
