MonashLink Dental Service operates a 10 chair clinic located at the Clayton Community Centre, 9-15 Cooke Street, Clayton. The operating hours are presently 5 days a week.
Government funding is allocated to provide services to groups of socially disadvantaged clients under the following programs:
Community Dental Program
This program provides emergency, general restorative and prosthetic services to Concession Card Holders (Pensioner Concession Card and Health Care Card) and their dependants. Fees are charged under this program, and vary between $22 and $88, with additional charges for denture work or advanced restorative treatments.
Youth Dental Program
This program provides emergency, preventative and restorative work for students in years 9, 10, 11 and 12 who are dependants of Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card or receive Youth Allowance or Education Maintenance Allowance.
Early Childhood Oral Health Program
This program provides Services to all preschool children (0 – 5 Years) who seek care, with a focus to the identified high risk children.
Government funding has been allocated to Monashlink to provide dental care to residents with a disability from two local Supported Residential Services (SRS). Dental staff works closely with care givers, medical practitioners and Community Connection Program members to enhance SRS client’s access to our service to improve their oral health and enable them to experience positive social interactions, personal contact and a better quality of life.
