Podiatry involves the prevention, diagnosis and management of foot and leg problems.
We provide podiatry services at our Ashwood and Hughesdale sites. Podiatrists may assist in the following areas:
Children’s feet
Ingrown toenails
Warts
Orthotics
Corns & callouses
Diabetes
Footwear advice
A group session called Feet First which gives practical advice on general footcare and prevention of foot problems is held regularly throughout the year. The podiatry service also offers shoe shopping tours – these consist of a small group of people visiting shoe stores with a MonashLink podiatrist in attendance to assist with selecting appropriate footwear.
